KlusWijs is a Dutch DIY retail chain established in 2011, known as the youngest DIY chain in the Netherlands. Headquartered in Apeldoorn, the company operates 38 locations across the country. It was founded by a group of eleven entrepreneurs, led by Hans Hortensius, after they sought to create a new formula following the discontinuation of the "Doeland" franchise. KlusWijs offers various store concepts to cater to the DIY market, including regular building supply stores, smaller outlets, and larger formats. The company also features a home decor concept, KW Wonen, which focuses on window treatments, flooring, paint, wallpaper, furniture, and home accessories. KlusWijs emphasizes service, providing tailored solutions such as measuring and installation for products, and supports franchise owners with services in purchasing, store automation, finance, sales, and marketing. The target audience includes both DIY consumers and independent franchise owners.
